Patagonia's Pilatus
Pilatus has a very fine, soft fleece. He was on our showstring in 2008 and won 1st place at Alpacapalooza and 2nd place at the Ohio Buckeye. His dam Flamenca, won 3rd place for her outstanding fleece at the Nationals in 2002 and was the CABA shear-off champion. In the shear off competition a fiber sample is taken from the entrants and overnighted to Yocom McColl. The entrant with the lowest total score is the champion. She has a very fine, crimpy fleece. Pilatus is sired by the exotic Neruda who sold at last year’s Futurity Auction for $200,000+ at the age of 8 years. Should be breeding by the fall of 2009.
